Wendy under investigation. Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers is under an ethics investigation by the Arizona state Senate after her disgusting comments about the recent shooting in Buffalo. She claimed on one of her social media channels that the shooting was actually carried out by a government agent. Wendy regularly promotes white supremacist talking points, such as the Great Replacement Theory, that partially motivated the Buffalo shooter. She was previously censured by the AZ Senate for other extremist comments made at a white nationalist event.
What we’re up against. In November 2020, Ginni Thomas, wife of U.S. Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas, lobbied AZ state Rep. Shawna Bolick to overturn the 2020 election. The attacks on voters haven’t stopped since – Bolick then introduced a bill in the Arizona Legislature that would allow lawmakers to reject voters’ choices in future elections, for any reason. Now, Bolick is currently running for Arizona Secretary of State, Arizona’s top elections official.
