Phoenix- A recent poll commissioned by Progress Now Arizona shows Bolding and Miranda ahead in the race for Arizona State House in Legislative District 27. 400 likely voters were asked which two candidates they would choose if the August 4 primary were held today. 41% said they would vote for Representative Reginald Bolding, 31% said Catherine Miranda and 23% said Representative Diego Rodriguez, with 42% remaining undecided.
“Representatives Bolding and Rodriguez, who have spent the last two years defending voting rights, public education and immigrant families at the Arizona legislature, are facing a serious challenge from Miranda, a Republican-lite candidate who has faced serious fraud allegations and who endorsed Governor Doug Ducey in 2014. Hopefully, today’s poll results spur further efforts to let the voters of LD27 know that Catherine Miranda shouldn’t be trusted,” said Emily Kirkland, executive director of Progress Now Arizona.
