Last Week This Morning: Invest in Ed kicked off the ballot…again

Invest in Ed kicked off the ballot. Again. Educators & public school supporters collected nearly 400,000 signatures in the middle of a pandemic. Then a judge booted the initiative from the ballot. The initiative plans to appeal.

“I’m sorry, but it’s a fantasy.” An Arizona school superintendent on the impossible position that schools have been left in.

The end of a lifeline. The $600 per week expanded unemployment benefits have expired, Republicans in the Senate are refusing to pass a full extension, and many Americans are running out of options.

Following the money. Another look at the flood of GOP-linked and corporate cash into this year’s Democratic legislative primaries.
